PMATT Notice – Application for Members’ Curfew Passes from TTPS

by | Jun 3, 2021 | Notice, PMATT | 0 comments

All applications have been forwarded to TTCSI for evaluation and to be further forwarded to the TTPS.

Dear Members,

As you would recall, through the efforts of your Association earlier last year, Pest Management service providers were included in the list of ‘essential service providers’.

Again, your Association with support from the T&T Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI), of which PMATT is a member, has succeeded in obtaining the agreement of the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service (TTPS), with regards to issuing a limited number of curfew passes for pest management service providers.

The TTPS has asked that companies apply only if they must carry out pest control or sanitising services after hours, due to client needs or other conditions.

Companies must apply in writing, and include:

– evidence of obligatory after-hours servicing (e.g. copies of contracts, POs, letters from customers, etc.)

– the designated service vehicles and related license numbers which must be allocated for afterhours servicing (passes will be assigned by vehicle, so please limit the number of vehicles)

– list of technicians with copies of their ID, that will be required to be on the road during curfew hours

Please note that PMATT has no control over the decision of the TTPS in this regard.

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to be considered – as not everyone is guaranteed to be approved, and the TTPS may be reviewing requests on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We ask our members to exercise the utmost discretion and to not abuse this privilege in any way that may result in its retraction by the authorities.

Applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, as they will be received by our secretariat, which will communicate with applicants and the TTPS directly.

Further information will be provided as it becomes available to us.
